Volunteering at “Let’s Talk” – Youth for Net-Zero Living

By Hazel Lin

Volunteering at “Let’s Talk” strengthened my commitment to sustainability and community-driven impact.

Last year, I had the amazing opportunity to volunteer at “Let’s Talk: Youth Action for Net-Zero Living,” an inspiring forum by the Youth Development Agency (YDA). The event brought together youth leaders and environmental experts to explore real ways young people can lead sustainable lives and advocate for climate-conscious policies.

The forum featured powerful sessions like:

  • Youth and Policy: How young voices can shape a greener future.

  • Net-Zero Action: Practical steps to reduce carbon footprints, from renewable energy to lifestyle shifts.

My Experience

As a volunteer, I helped with event logistics and got inspired by the power of youth-led change. This experience reinforced my belief that collective action is essential for a sustainable future.
