Behind the Scenes at TAISE’s Climate Diplomacy Event

By Hazel Lin, Social Impact Intern

This past year, I had the unique experience of supporting TAISE in organizing a climate diplomacy event alongside Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As a Social Impact Intern, my role was to help bring together diplomats, environmental leaders, and sustainability advocates from around the world.

Here’s a quick look at what made this event special:

  • International Dialogue on Sustainability: Diplomats and leaders engaged in meaningful discussions on advancing renewable energy and green policies, building essential partnerships for climate action.

  • Showcasing Taiwan’s Initiatives: Through key sessions, the event highlighted Taiwan’s commitment to sustainable innovation and environmental responsibility.

  • Cultural Appreciation: Guests enjoyed a taste of Taiwan’s rich heritage, reminding us that cultural connection is key in fostering global cooperation.

This experience taught me how impactful it can be to unite diverse voices around shared goals.

Witnessing the intersection of diplomacy and sustainability firsthand deepened my commitment to social impact work.
